On the occasion of Jeremy Deller's exhibition, It Is What It Is: Conversations about Iraq, tour the Oriental Institute's renowned Mesopotamian Gallery and learn more about the rich ancient cultural history of Iraq. Led by Katharyn Hanson, a scholar interested in cultural property protection and the current state of archaeology in Iraq and cocurator of the Oriental Institute's 2009 exhibition Catastrophe: The Destruction and Looting of Iraq’s Past.
