Kyle Abraham engages community members in Open Dances, a forum curated by Barak adé Soleil, resident choreographer for Rebuild Foundation, that offers opportunities for neighborhoods on the south side to experience both visiting and local movement-based artists.
The focus of Kyle Abraham's visit, "learn dance," expands on the unique movement expression he articulates through a signature technique, opening it for different interpretations by different bodies who may not normally practice dance, but are invested in how their bodies move. The event is free and open to all ages.
