Policies & Perks
Ticketing Policies
Tickets are available at the MCA Box Office in person, by phone, and online
Seating is guaranteed only until program start time. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of house management. Late seating is not guaranteed.
All patrons must have a ticket to gain entry to the theater.
MCA Stage welcomes children 8 years of age and older unless specifically noted. All children, regardless of age, must have their own tickets for all performances.
Photography, video, and audio recording are strictly prohibited.
One valid student ID equals one student-priced ticket. All student tickets are held at Will Call until a student ID is presented. If no student ID is shown, the patron will be charged the difference for a full-priced ticket.
Tickets must be paid in full at time of purchase.
Waiting List
The MCA Box Office starts a waiting list one hour before a program begins. At that time, numbers are given out to patrons on a first-come, first-served basis, one number per patron per ticket. As tickets become available, Box Office staff call out waiting list numbers.
Patrons must be present to take a number. Because staff cannot predict when or if tickets will become available, it is important for those on the waiting list to remain within hearing distance. If a number is called and no one responds, Box Office staff will dismiss the number and call the next number.
The Perks of Ticket Purchase
- There are no service charges on your ticket purchase
- You can present your MCA Stage ticket stub for free admission to the museum, valid up to 7 days after date of show
- MCA Stage attendees can park in the MCA garage for $13, with validation, good for up to 6 hours on date of show

Groups of 10 or more are entitled to a 20% discount. Call the Box Office, 312-397-4010, and they will be happy to assist you with your order.
